Registration for Dutch citizens in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Tadzjikistan (for both short and long stay)

All Dutch citizens who stay for a short or longer period in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Tadzjikistan are recommended to register. Registration is voluntary, but in case of an emergency it can be of great use. It enables you also to be informed of social events (like Queen’s day) or other important matters.

Why register?

When an emergency happens, or if a natural disaster, terrorism, or civil unrest strikes during your foreign travel, the embassy or consulate can be your source of assistance and information. By registering your stay, you help the embassy or consulate locate you when you might need them the most. Furthermore through your registration you can also indicate whether you would like to receive information by ways of mailings from the embassy or consulate regarding various activities (for instance elections, queen’s day celebrations, st. nicolaas, or other interesting information) during your stay in the jurisdiction of the embassy or consulate.

The embassy and consulate are committed to ensuring that any personal information received pursuant to the registration process, is safeguarded against unauthorized disclosure. The data that you provide are subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act (WBP). This means that the embassy or consulate will not disclose the information you provide in your registration to any third parties unless you have first given authorization to do so, or unless the disclosure is otherwise permitted by the Privacy Act. The registration is voluntary, fast, easy and online. And frankly it is an indispensable part of your stay abroad.
